FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Can I Be Present in the Truck When My Dog is Being Groomed?

This is not advisable. You’re your dog’s favorite person, so your presence might distract it from sitting still or cooperating with the groomers. Occasionally, dog owners are called to help calm or hold their pets during specific parts, but the grooming process should be between the dog and groomer alone.

  • How Long is The Grooming Process?

This varies. The bath service lasts anywhere from 35 to 120 minutes depending on the dog’s breed and a haircut service lasts anywhere from 60 to 150 minutes depending on the dog’s breed. We take our time to provide efficient services.

  • Do You Need My Water or Electricity?

No. Our truck is self-contained with its power and warm water source/supply. We carry an extension cord as a power back-up but do not use it. Batteries supply power, so there is no need for a loud generator.

  • What Products Would You Use On My Pet?

For the providing the best service, we use only premium shampoos and conditioners designed especially for pets. However, if your pet has its shampoo, we can use it as well.

  • Can You Provide Grooming Services At My Office?

Yes, if there is a legal parking space.

  • What Are The Acceptable Payment Types?

Cash, checks, and credit cards (MasterCard, Discover, Visa, and American Discover). All grooming fees must be paid in full before service provision.

  • How Often Should I Take My Pet For Grooming?

It depends on the pet’s lifestyle and living conditions. Dog breeds such as Cockers, Bichons, Poodles, Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus, etc. should be groomed every four to six weeks. Other dog breeds such as Collies, Labradors, Shepherds, etc. and cats should be groomed every six to eight weeks.

  • Can I Get The Same Groomer More Than Once?

Most clients prefer to have the same groomer as it helps to build a better relationship between the client, groomer, and dog. This is useful when your dog gets easily spooked, or you want to make a specific request.

  • Can My Pet Remain There During The Entire Day?

Sadly, we are not a pet daycare center. We want to provide a safe and fun environment for your pet, and this doesn’t include the use of a kennel after the grooming process. 99 percent of all pet appointments are completed within two hours and we would appreciate prompt pick up.

  • Why Can't I See Your Grooming Service Prices?

Several factors must be considered such as the pet’s weight, coat condition, age, temperament, and desired style. If you contact us, we will provide you with a guide price, and our professional groomers will evaluate your pet and then provide a specific price.

  • What is the Cost of Grooming?

It depends on several factors such as its breed, age, coat condition, temperament, and the grooming service required. You can call us at (702) 745-0999  to receive a guide price or click here to request a quote.

  • Can You Groom My Pet On Cold Winter and Hot Summer Days?

The grooming van is climate controlled. There is air conditioning and heat to suit your pet.

  • What is Mobile Pet Grooming?

This is where the groomer comes to you instead of taking your pet to them. It helps to groom the pet in a familiar environment. The groomer might not have a grooming van or trailer but has all the relevant equipment to give a full groom. All that is needed is a small place for setup or work, and an electrical outlet.

This way, the animal doesn’t leave its surroundings, especially elderly pets and nervous dogs relax and enjoy. A busy lifestyle is stressful, and pet grooming should not be a reason. Frequently groomed animals are healthier and happier, and you as the pet owner will enjoy as well.
